"We have more "traditional" people down here than larger cities have, and more traditional values. The hard core party scene and the really oddball Bohemian style people are here, but not as noticeable as in other places. Lots of drinking, less drugs than most places. Sometimes we, like other fairly small towns, suffer from a lack of things to do! But the good thing is, when an event does come to town, you are bound to find people there you know! It's really "small town" that way! There are a lot of rednecks...pick-up trucks, country music is big...but we are getting a little more "diverse" as time passes. There are some good church groups in town, and that is where you can meet some great people! Also, at ASU you can get involved in student ministries and have activities to get involved in that don't involve drinking/sex/partying/etc., and meet some people you can actually bring home to Momma (or Daddy!)" -Anonymous,
